Is there a dental study club in the Atlanta area with CE credit?

Yes. GPS Monthly Seminars is a 10-session study club, one evening a month, moderated by Carlos A. Castro, DDS, FACP, with 2 PACE CE credits per session (20 CE in total) for a tuition of $750. Members join at any time; membership starts at the next session. Sessions are held at 6320 Sugarloaf Parkway, Duluth, GA (Atlanta metro).

What happens in a session

Treatment planning seminars Work through complex restorative cases step by step, from diagnosis to sequencing.

Literature reviews Read and discuss the evidence behind materials, techniques and protocols.

Case presentations Bring your own cases and get feedback from the group and the moderator.

Surgical seminars Surgical planning and execution for implant and restorative treatment.

Questions & answers

When does my membership start and end?

Your membership starts at the session right after you enroll and ends after your 10th session. You can enroll at any time during the year.

What if I miss a session?

One make-up session is allowed per calendar year.

How are CE credits awarded?

Attendance is mandatory to obtain the 20 CE credits. Credits are prorated at 2 CE per session attended.

When do I get my certificate?

CE certificates are issued per semester, at the end of June and at the end of December.

Can I get a refund or transfer my seat?

Tuition is not refundable or transferable.
